Yom Iyun for Shluchim with Israeli Chief Rabbi

Yom Iyun for Shluchim with Israeli Chief Rabbi

January 14, 2024

Machon Lemaan Yilmedu invites shluchim and rabbanim to a special Yom Iyun on the subjects of chuppa v'kiddushin and mikvaos, with the guest of honor, Chief Rabbi and Nasi of the Beis Din Ha'Gadol, Rabbi Dovid Lau.

These topics were chosen because nearly every shliach encounters them when on shlichus and there is a constant need to learn the halachos and their practical application.

Also attending will be Rabbi Mordechai Farkash, author of Sefer Chuppa v'Kiddushin, Rabbi Pinchas Altheus, expert on chuppa v'kiddushin, and Rabbi Sholom Ber Shuchat, expert on mikvaos.

The event will take place, G-d willing, at Machon Lemaan Yilmedu's learning center in Crown Heights, on Wednesday, 2 Tammuz, June 21, from 11 am until 5 pm. The first half of the day will be on chuppa and kiddushin and the second half will be on mikvaos, including a guided tour of a mikva in the community to enable in-person learning about the structure of the mikva.
